02 About Gamja 소개

Born in Gangwon-do, he should've spent his life underground as everyone expected.

Instead, he moved to Seoul, found three part-time jobs, and developed the unfortunate belief that he has what it takes to become a legend.

Gamja dreamed big. Unfortunately, his tiny wallet had bigger problems, bills, and absolutely no chill.

씨앗The Sprout

Gamja's first home was the soil in Gangwon-do. The rent was zero, the neighbors were potatoes, and the career prospects were terrible. Things got expensive after he discovered ambition.

Gamja entered Seoul with stars in his eyes and coins in his pocket. The stars stayed. The coins didn't last very long.

Gamja is a potato. A very ambitious one. He starts out in Gangwon-do, ends up in Seoul, picks up jobs, loses money, discovers the market, and generally makes life harder for himself. The whole universe follows what happens next.

The character came first. Gamja has a whole world around him, his story, his friends, his rivals, the memes, the little everyday disasters. $GAMJA is the community token that grew out of that world. So no, he's not just a coin wearing a potato costume.

Because gamja means potato in Korean. Simple enough. But we liked the idea of taking something completely ordinary and giving it a ridiculous amount of personality. A tiny potato from Gangwon-do trying to make it in Seoul? Yeah. We had to see where that went.

Remember when Gamja cooked the market? Yeah. This is what came out of that. $GAMJA is the community token built around the Gamja universe. The memes, stories, characters, and community all live in the same little patch.

When it's ready, we'll tell you exactly where. The official buying details and contract address will be posted through the official Gamja channels. Until then, please don't let some random account convince you that their $GAMJA is the real one. Gamja has enough questionable decisions in his life already.
